cant deny that he led them to a great start, tho
And that great start means shit when they are sitting at home watching the playoffs on tv.
With their mansions, Ferrari's and gorgeous wives.
They'll survive.
so i am supposed to praise him for having a great start, and a terrible finish?
his "undeniable" great start is completely erased by his play in the final 4 games. deny that.
EDIT: 2 touchdowns and 8 interceptions against crap teams san fran, seattle and buffalo.
Thats whats wrong with football and every other sport for that matter. No passion or heart. Just money.
depends who your talking about...peyton manning is such a hard worker of the game...studying film, work outs with his receivers pre-game, this guy is the hard working guy in the nfl
But if he wasnt getting paid the amount of money he earns would he still be there? I have no idea about the NFL watched a couple games yeah its a good game. But I can totally agree with Yankee's point but all I do is swith it to Football (soccer) its no longer a game of pasion its all about money. Even the most commited players would not be so commited if they were not getting paid the right amount of money, they'd just move elsewhere.
In whatever sport your talking about "Money is King" .
well u wouldnt do it for free, right? if your damn good at something u should be getting paid to do it...and plus, the guys playing football they gotta have some passion right? i mean u wouldnt do something if u didnt love to do it?
If I hated doing something but they offered me £/$ 200,000 (or whatever NFL players are paid) a week to do so, I would seriously think about it.

first off u gotta have some talent to go with that bark
A Yankees fan complaining about players playing for money and no heart?
Noone is questioning anyones talent. I question passion and heart. Players don't give 2 shits whether they win or lose anymore. If Brett cared he would be interactive with his teammates, trying to make them and the team better. Obviousley he didn't want to play for love of the game. He wanted records, and more money for himself. He was a damn good quarterback, very talented. But he has no passion for the game anymore, only love of money. You never see him get upset when he loses like Peyton Manning, or Tom Brady. He acts if he couldn't care less. The way he acts at the end of every season about whether he is retiring or staying isn't caring about the good of the team. He is no longer a team player, Brett is all about Brett.
