With plate carriers, you can take 4 shots of 5.56 and he had that on him. He was shot in the head for the final shot thus, basically, he did get one tapped. I know it sounds stupid but that's what he meant. It din't mean he got outright killed with one shot because if the other round hits his arm, leg or chest, he could still survive but not the head.

Why does everyone just kill eachother on sight in Day z now? I remember the good old days when each encounter with other players was unique and memorable. Some would rob you, others would help
I think its just a repeating cycle, you try and be friendly, you get shot by some geared guy, so next geared person you see, you just shoot on sight. Personally, I won't kill freshspawns, but If I see a geared player, there's a 50% chance ill try and kill them, or a 50% chance ill just avoid them.

I’ve been playing for a week now on Xbox, and every gun I’ve found was useless because I keep dying before I found ammo for said weapon… but it is what it is. Also keep dying before I can build a shelter because I’m not quick enough to get 50 short sticks… always get to 40 and end up dying of thirst or hunger lol

I met this one guy and I played with him for an hour. He was very friendly. So I gave him a shotgun I had found and by accident I gave him the wrong shotgun. He asked if I wanted it back, then he turned around and shot me in the face. I was so heartbroken and in shock that I couldn't believe someone would do that to a person they had been playing with for a while.

You have proved that there can be trustworthy people too... Yet till today I never believed...
I met this one guy and I played with him for an hour. He was very friendly. So I gave him a shotgun I had found and by accident I gave him the wrong shotgun. He asked if I wanted it back, then he turned around and shot me in the face. I was so heartbroken and in shock that I couldn't believe someone would do that to a person they had been playing with for a while.
