Her heart was already thumping when Lance approached. The sight of the guitar-toting, foppish fox was already enough to get those tingles going up her spine. Excitement built. Prospects of a date and a romantic walk by the pier, a profession of love perhaps, maybe even a surprise serenade. Was her friend about to become her prince charming? Like steam in a kettle, the energy grew and grew, until...

Peggy hurried herself home. It wouldn't be the first time her feeding response had been set off, and it wouldn't be the last. She only hoped that once Lance recovered, he'd not be too put off by the experience. After all, it wasn't as if she had a bad time or anything... Quite the opposite...
