- Keep. It was one of the first major attacks on an military esablishment, it "marked a dangerous escalation in violence" (http://news.sky.com/home/world-news/article/16117757) and a week later this attack and others led to the UN declaring the Syrian unrest as a "civil war"(http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/syria/8929186/Syria-now-in-state-of-civil-war-says-United-Nations-as-death-toll-passes-4000-mark.html) Goltak (talk) 17:23, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep - a notable event, certainly among the first notable military operations by the defectors.Greyshark09 (talk) 07:10, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep- as others have said, this is one of the most significant military assaults by the FSA, it needs to stay, or at the very least be merged with another article. Besides, what harm is there in it staying ? there nothing about it thats no factual, i dont see a problem with it. If anyone dosnt like the article there simply dont look at it. - Merge to 2011 Syrian uprising without prejudice to recreation if in hindsight and with more data this seems more prominient than the facts we've got at the moment indicate. Buckshot06 (talk) 15:57, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
