Hello, I could use someone's help with locating Janus Geller ("Golden Papers" quest from one of the Taverns). I checked Town Hall records, and it confirms he should be living in Crow's End, I also read Marcus Wright's journal from my library, but I can't find Geller nor his dwelling.

Nevermind, after 10 or 15 visits to Town Hall, I finally noticed the 2 red links to news reports, clicked them and now Geller's on the map in CE. I guess I have an onset of Red River blindness.

In my experience that quest glitches sometimes when you check the census. Check your quest log. If you still have the golden papers quest there then you need to check the census again. When the quest is no longer in your quest log you should be able to find him in Crow's End. I've had similar issues with other quests involving the census as well.

Thanks, I've edited my post above (found the solution - clicking links to news reports in Town Hall census records)

2nd option is to edit the save, some of sugarcube codes don't work, had to figure out 4-5 of the materials codes. Had house done before i left the house. Opera gx is nice. (y)

ye, some things do work with the widget. Most MC stats, Money (if you can find it), items can be edited for amounts if you buy them.

I was wondering how to 'claim' the Marston Watch Tower?
I've cleared it out, & Fort Sera says 100+ standing, 200+ men & $300,000
No option at the Fort to talk or anything
Anything else I have to do?

Anyone got any advice for this?

Sadly, i too wish to know this

to be honest, i feel like the faction mechanics could use more interaction methods.

You need to add to your household all the rabble you capture and check for it. In my current gameplay, at day 30 I have cleared all the 6 secrets (yes, my MC it´s a beast in Manipulation).

Bdw, If you try to interrogate them, have a full group of follower with you, it will increase your chances. Not sure if who it´s in the group matters, but just in case I use my main Combat Team.

In general, for the maneouver Interrogate-Persuade, your chances with a 4 team followers are 30+Your manipulation- NPC willpower. But I can remember some few cases in that the chances were far better. Not sure if that´s related to some other stator trait of the NPC or just because I have this particular NPC without food for 6 days.

she can be found in The Orient restaurant, at the Palace, not remember exactly at what time bracket

No advice, really - just some experience. Clicking alternately on Sera and the Tower brought up the choice I sought. Took a couple of efforts, but nothing too time-consuming.
(I don't actually recommend claiming the thing. The soldiers/commanding officer/someone else seems to have a peculiar idea about GETTING PAID for their service. Hopefully such stupid fashion doesn't spread further. :rolleyes: )

It's weird that in such a depraved settings that's where the devs draw the line but it's probably the thought police at Patreon influencing it.
How this game hasn't violated another one of their nebulous rules is incredible to me considering how adamantly they defend the rights of pixels.
