I'm answering this quite from backs, but I wanted to say that one of the reasons why this game is so good is how kinda wholesome it is, the site is already full of games where you feel like "Yep I am the bad guy" to make you deconstruct your own personality by making you think about how disgusting piece of vile being you are by playing that game, among the games like this Null Hypothesis is like a breath of fresh air, you just play like a nice guy in special collage.
We're not Spec Ops The Line and yes, this is me vague posting about the devs who think they can be the SOTL of porn games.
I can only think of one game on this site that was mildly successful at this but... then they just keep driving the point home again, and again, and again and haven't stopped for like the past 5 years. They stopped and I was like "Oh are we going to have fun now?" and then nope. They just wanted to lull you into thinking the game was moving on to some sort of conclusion until they broke the fourth wall again and it's been more of the same.

I quite like the wholesome choices too but their execution makes them feel like a reddittor's comment copied verbatim. I wish they were at least a bit more true to life and sincere. As is I just kinda involuntarily roll my eyes at many of them.

We welcome criticism but we need examples.
Though you also have to consider that not all experiences are considered universal.
The biggest example. The Dorm Big Sister/Big Brother thing Jean has going on is called a Student Ambassador or Student Supervisor at different schools. Some colleges don't have any form of it. We went with Big Sister because A. That's what my college did and B. A SEMI-realistic way to develop a faux incest kink.
But still. If you have feedback, we welcome it. Another perspective may have the writers go "Yeah that might be an improvement." It wouldn't be the first time. Jean's quirk has been revised like 3 times, much to the dismay of our Yandere lovers.

This can be said for many games, since there is a limitation in the narration, but after experiencing some of the "hardcore" content games on the site that people said great, I can't help but say that this kind of soft content is much better cause like whats the point of being a abuser of some nice characters, after some point if you start to think about its literally serve no purpose other than burdening your soul. What we have here works pretty well compared to most things on the market, we just have to hope that matters will improve as the game continues to develop.

I need a scene of Null getting the absolute bejesus beaten out of him by a big villain after doing some heroic shit to help the rest of the team, only for one of the girls to go super limit break (Rogue goes full Miss Marvel, Jean unleashes the Phoenix, Laura beats her trigger scent) to save him while listen to your heart plays in the background.

Normally I couldn't be arsed do an in depth response because it's easy to shit on a game and move on, on this site but I genuinely love this game and would love to see it improved even if not every player's idea can be entertained. Tell you what, I'll do a 5th replay of the game at some point and I'll take screenshots of parts of dialogue I thought standed out throughout the playthrough and post it replying to your comment, in a month or so. I'm not erudite enough to get the point across without examples (and don't have the time to do a from scratch playthrough atm).

I dont know about the rest of you, but my Null is a shonen protagonist and a good boy.
Spec Ops is genuinely one of my favourite games of that generation, but the whole argument it makes falls apart really easily, especially if you don't subscribe to the idea that media can be inherently 'good' or 'evil', or that a film or game can suddenly twist someone into doing something they'd never do had they not subjected themselves to it in the first place.
